New Studio Diary - Part 1

There's a truism to remodeling any space, that it's going to look worse before it looks better. Although our walls are going up, already we're experiencing the truism in action.  Our contractor, Chris Botello, has been through a protracted battle of getting the building permit.  We couldn't ask for a better person to be helping.  He's so patient, yet absolutely determined.

Now, it's time for a photo tour of the "before" pictures.  Above is Studio A from the front door of the waiting room.  You can't see the size, but it's big enough to have fun dancing in.
Studio B is the small one with the windows.
The ugly bathrooms definitely need a makeover!
The future girl's dressing room (leading into another fixer-upper bathroom) will be beautiful when it's done.
And the office suite, from the work area, needs more work than it seems.

What's my favorite place?  By far, Studio A.  It's going to be a wonderful place to work and create.  Followed, I think, by the waiting area, which is going to have some modestly cool features that will be the subject of future blogs.  Stay in touch for more updates on the studio.

Keep watching for frequent updates!!
